Dear EOS drivers,
the trip computer (wonder if it's the right name in English...) on my EOS has 2 positions:
- Position 1) cumulative, i.e. only gets reset when I decide to (by holding the OK key on the steering wheel for a few seconds whilst trip computer is on position 1.
- Position 2) tracks distance, average speed, consumption etc. for the CURRENT trip. It looks like this latter position, which I can also manually reset, does not reset itslef when I stop for a few minutes (like to fill in the tank, or to buy a "baguette"), but does in between my morning and evening drive.

Does anyone know what the rules for the auto-reset are for this other position, like how long does the car need to be off before it gets reset?

It will re-set itself after 2 hours; so if you stop for less than that it will assume you are resuming the same journey but any more than that and it's a new journey!

Yes, it is in the Owner's manual, and No, I don't believe it can be changed!
