High pitched sound coming from eos when engine turned on, its not very loud but it pierces your ears.

Its just started this evening and cannot work out what it is???

its not radio as its still there when radio switched off and goe soff when engine switched off???

Iv been offered maintenance from VW as 32 pound a month without tyres which is annoying as im doing 18k a year. the dealer wont send out info unless i take it out which is weird, do people here recommend the maintenance plan???

I went through the sums myself before I got my car, but I don't do that high a mileage. My dealer gave me a quote for the maintenance deal and also the likely costs if I paid for servicing. The contract came up more expensive.

When you say engine turned on and off, do you mean engine running or just ignition on ? If running it could be the turbo perhaps ?

Under 10,000. Looking back at my calculations, it was close. I suppose you should allow for servicing costs to increase over time which might make a difference.
