Last Saturday, I drove over a large piece of wood that sat abandoned behind a curve... It has created a 2 inch cut in my front-left tyre... It obviously had to be raining (since I'm no englishman, I cannot pretend this is "usual"), and the next possible place to stop had to be muddy and dusty... Always happens when you need to change the wheel...
So I ended up driving my EOS with it's reduced-size 'shoe' on (the safety wheel) for a few days and mainly had to pay 200EUR for a new tyre... The damaged one was only 5500kms but could not be repaired...
I had to share this piece of news, hoping it will prevent further similar issues to arise in comings months!
My original tyres are Dunlop SP01 235 45 17, 97W. Anyone knows if these are cheap or expensive tyres, vs other models/brands found on the EOS?
