Does anything think that there is any merit in having a chat room section just for members.:cool: Quite often I see that there are quite a number of users on line and a lot of us (including me) are using the forums & threads for pseudo chat! Maybe this way the forums and threads will stay on track!!:)

Hi. Indeed a good idea for both instant sharing of thoughts and for enhancing the richness of the site. As with any chat room, it would need monitoring and good-behaviour rules... And one IMPORTANT thing to consider, is how will the excellent Q&A sessions or tips & tricks be memorized for later viewing by offline users?

PS: I recently saw the site offers the possibility to enter one's IM addresses in the profile, and it also a decent way to contact someone for a 'private' real-time discussion...

ok, im in talks with a chatroom provider. for now i think we can get away with useing www.mibbit.com/chat. on the first page it will have a box with 'nick:' place your screen name here. in the box beside it put '#vweosclub' (no (') needed). it will direct you to the chat room directly through that. lets give it a try... :D
