Well, my dealer called me yesterday morning to let me know that my eos was built and waiting to go on it's little boat trip to the UK..............I hope it doesn't get sea sick! Or even worse, end up shipwrecked on the English coast like that other huge container ship! :eek:

Dealer said that it will be here in about 10-14 days! Can anyone remember how long it took for their eos's boat trip?!?!?!

Also, how long does it take to supagard a car? This also has to get done before I can finally get my hands on it!

Lynne, I'm sure mine was only on its cruise for a week not 14 days for that bit of the delivery.

As for the supaguard treatment I have no Idea, I prefer to polish manually. Perhaps someone else can answer?

You must be SO excited, mine isnt being built till mid March, be interested to know how many days its at see, and I've ordered that supa guard thingy too, so keep us posted! It was a lovely day here in Surrey today, and I find it depressing cause I'm still driving my Vectra!!! Actually was thinking of having a sticker made!!! ' My Eos is on order ' !!!

I supagard my car yesterday. Loads cheaper than VW would have charged me.
Took 1/2 aday and that was someone who has never applied it before. That was inside and out.

Yeah, i thought that it seemed a long time for the ship to take, guess they were just over-estimating it! hopefully it will be here much sooner!

You will really enjoy yours too when it's made, its nearly mid March already so it'll not be too long to wait! sticker idea would be hillarious! there was talk stickers were going to be made for the people on the site, so you could have one of them too!

thanks for the supagard advice! it was thrown into the deal so that's partly why i'm getting it but also think it will help me keep it cleaner in the long run - especially with it being black! think they are doing inside and out of the car.

Boat trip itself only takes abt 30 hours; the rest of the time it's at VW's distribution centre then on its way to your dealer and undergoing the PDI!

ah right! well fingers crossed i get it soon! :D

yeah, the supagard is just extra wax stuff (very technical aren't I?!) and then they protect the leather with something too! :D was kinda thrown into the package when i was biuying it so that was fine with me!
