Hi all,
My first post here, so firstly: Hi!!
I have a question about adding features to my EOS.
I live in the UK and ordered a new EOS to my spec:
Leather, Sat Nav, Auto 6 speed, diesel DSG, multifunction steering wheel with paddles etc.
Anyways, get the car and apparently I didn't add the Auto Lights, Rain sensor option, electric folding mirror option. It all comes as one part of one option. Not sure why i wouldn't have selected it if i've spent so much money on other things...
So is there anyways all those options, or at least some can be added now?
Thanks all,
Nick

Hi Nick welcome to the site!!
Im guessing you didn't add the luxury pack in that case. Im not sure if you can add it after market you would have to ask your dealer if they can do this for you but it might delay delivery :(
Where in the UK are you?

Hi Steph
I live in Canary Wharf...
I already got the car a couple months ago.
Yeah, it is the luxury pack that i didn't add - APPARENTLY!!
I did ask one dealer and they said its not possible, but i've seen on the site that other people have managed to have Multifunction steering wheels installed so there's got to be a way to have it done?? I'm hoping!!

You live in Canary Wharf and only drive an Eos? I thought a minimum requirement for residency there was a Bentley or an Aston ;)

LOL...
I know, I must be doing something wrong. Time for a new job perhaps.
Then again, I don't work 18hours day like a lot of people who work there and I'm 23 so maybe I'm okay ;)

In theory you could retrofit all the stuff you don't have, but you are looking at a lot of money and effort and may not be worth it.

Kind of agree with cb391. Are you free on the 8th September? There is a Pistonheads meet at the Ace Cafe in North London which I will attend and you can look at all of the features (apart from dsg) that you mention. PM me for details...

Yes,you can add the auto lights but it's not very easy. The whole computer of the car must be removed and replaced with a new one, having this feature. Also the side mirrors must be replaced because the auto lights/or as it's known "coming home-leaving home/ include a special lights coming from the bottom of the mirrors to lighten the car in the dark.

I tried to get heated screen-washers retro-fitted and they said yes, it can be done, but it means some new parts, wiring and new computer settings etc etc etc and they reckoned it would cost over £350! Considering such things only cost a few pounds when you order them from the factory I didn't feel inclined to pay that sort of money.

you can't retro fit the items you listed unless you spend a very lot of money and the cost wound be more than ordering a second new car and taking the hit on it
