Hi,

Anyone up for another east coast meet between now and the end of January?

Was thinking about a more southerly location than the humber bridge, possibly Newark air Museum (of the A1) or maybe Batemans Brewery at Wainfleet near Skegness...

I was looking at a Sunday, as before and will try to arrange parking and an entry deal for those who will attend.

Let me know if you are interested.

Hi Simon, yes we would definately be interested in a meet up. Had thought of doing the run to Humber Bridge again, but as the weather is now closing in there would probably be more fog there than last time! Newark Air Museum would be interesting, think they have somewhere to eat there as well.

Unfortunately that's a 294.4 mile round trip which would take about 6 hours.... ;) ho hum, guess I'd best hold out for a closer meet to me!! :D

Hmm..... Very few takers on this. No one interested in a meet up?

If there was more interest I might be tempted to have a meet further down the A1 at Biggleswade (Old Warden)

All thoughts welcome as always :-)

Hi Simon.
Winter's not the best time for it.
I'd be interested in summer meets but it's not so much fun on cold dark winter days..!

I'll bring my car out of SORN if needs be.. as I always wanted to go to an Eos meet but my car was always at dealers when the last meets happened up north :D

Pick a location anywhere in England SOUTH of Manchester & I'll come.
London is ideal - infact if you all came to where I work in Hertfordshire I'll even buy you coffee.

Someone said Biggleswade. I suppose my Eos could drag me up that far ;)

Seems like there is more interest in a meet up and as there has been more noises from the south of the area than the North might I suggest a meet at the Nene Valley Railway at Wansford? It is just off the A1 and there should be no problem parking. I could also have a word with the staff to see if we could have a dedicated area if there are enough of us.

I'm looking at a date towards the end of February or the beginning of March. Any takers?

The Bubble car museum is closed until later in the year but this would be a good 2nd venue for later in the year.

Nene Valley sounds great only couple miles down the road:)

Just a suggestion..... Grafham Reservoir - theres a huge car park with cafe over looking the res. I know the owners ;)
