Just picked up a Island Gray with luxury package yesterday. Waiting for the sun to come out to take it for a ride.

Too kind dear boy, simply too kind! That is indeed a touch of class, my excitement knows no bounds with just 25 days to go now - and assuming that is your house in the background - very nice house too!!

Only for people who insist on driving on the wrong side!

It's just the gate lodge, main house on the horizon! Nah, thanks Paul and Pepino, built nine years ago, and with the last sprog about to fly, getting too big. Council rates just jumped over here, and Gordy set to hit my 3.2 engine tomorrow.....

Welcome. If it looks just like GurnyGub's you have a real looker. Absolutely gorgeous! Just stunning.

Paul,

It was my wife nudged me to the red over the beige, well, we both garden and might get in with wellies on, sacrilege!
The beige looks fantastic, but just a bit of info, if you don't mind; I read on another forum to make sure you wear well worn jeans with the dye washed out. The same very fussy moderator said all he uses to keep his seats perfect ( and his photos prove they are ) is a Woolite solution lightly wiped over them. Looking forward to seeing the Grey and Beige,

John

John that is great advice - on a different thread I did ask if anyone had any cleaning tips, so that is much appreciated! And it was MY wife who nudged me over to beige - but for purely aesthetic reasons! I don't expect it to be pristine for ever, but am hoping it will 'age gracefully' - just like me actually!!

Cheers

My B5 Passat beige held up nicely. I had it detailed before I sold it and it made me wish I had kept the car.
