Hi
Just wanted to share my experiences of purchasing an Eos in Adelaide.

I hunted everywhere including using an online car broker, and the best deal was still the Corporate Plus discount offered by the local dealer. So if you have access to the Corporate Plus discount from your local dealer- don't bother with the online stuff...

I was initially skeptical about getting a good deal from the monopoly dealer in Adelaide, but they were very reasonable in negotiations. (The nearest dealer outside Adelaide is in Murray Bridge, some 45 minutes drive from Adelaide, who could not beat the price)

Not everything is cheaper online !

BTW I have been told that the wait for delivery in Adelaide is 16 weeks.

How did you qualify for a Corporate Plus Discount? If you have an ABN can you manage this?

I have just done the negotition thing with the Dealer here in Adelaide and I can agree with the comments above. Did the car discounter bit and got put onto a Dealer in Mildura, also got a quote from the one in Murray Bridge and the Corporate Deal through the Adelaide dealer was the best, plus they through in the Ipod connector on signing. As for how you qualify, you have to belong to a Professional/Business Association which is cedrtifeid and listed by Volkswagen Australia. Our Association was not listed so we are currently going throught the process of getting them certifed, which isn't to hard and doesn't cost the Association anything, I beleive. This saves quite a bit and is worth the try.

Hi there and welcome to the EOS owners club and the EOS forum.
Good to see another EOS in the Adelaide area.
I drop into McLaren Vale every now and then for lunch, Willunga markets or one of the food and wine events, so I might spot you there.
I assume you will have your EOS in about 4 months.
When I ordered mine, it took 7 months to be delivered.

Unfortunately as their wasn't one avail in Aust at the moment we have a 16-18 weeks wait, sucks, something to look forward to in Spring. We ahve ordered a VW Caddy Maxi as a work van, they say 5 months wait on that. I couldn't handle 7 months that must have been a real drag. If your ever in the area let us know as we run a couple of business's in the Main Street, Mines The Bloke Shop, Menswear.

With the week delivery, you must have been lucky and they had just what you were looking for. We really wanted the Salsa Red and the only one in Aust at the moment had Sat Nav and the fancy lights plus a couple of other things that made it about $4,000 more and we didn't really want those options anyway, so waiting we are.
