Hi there,

I'm overly excited at the moment because I am waiting for my new Eos. It was ordered just over a month ago and I still don't have a delivery date. Could anyone tell me how long I should expect to wait at the moment?

I have ordered it in Silver, 2.0 FSI version, standard 16" wheels (wanted better but company wouldn't pay for them), do they look ok, haven't seen an Eos with them on, Luxury Pack, Wind Deflector.

I really want my Eos, the weather was really nice at the weekend and would have loved to have had it.

Matt:)

I think the average wait in the UK is 14 weeks from order. If yours does not have a lot of extras such as leather seats, then it may be a bit sooner.

Other posts indicate the wind deflector works well you can see it in place (albeit an Audi) in the thread about the new Audi A3 cabriolet pics.

I have been told now that I won't get it until mid-july, argghhh! Apparently it is Scheduled to be built in week 24 (June).

Warning to anymore, you want an Eos soon, order it now! Would appear to be a massive waiting time for one!

You would think they would step up production times :(

No - keep them exclusive and keep those used values up!

There are a few (imports) on one of the supermarket websites if you're not too bothered about specification. Immediate delivery and savings too!

Not much use if you're not in the UK though...

I ordered mine on 21st March and was quoted 16 weeks! (2.0 FSI Sport, Shadow Blue, Black Leather Int and iPod connection) trying very hard not to think about it until July!!

Ordered mine beginning of Oct last year and was told it would be at least 12 weeks, took delivery beginning of Feb, thought it would drive me crazy waiting but I tried not to think about it too much and it was ready to collect before I knew it, the salesman kept me updated by telephone on the progress from going into build, arriving at the docks, arriving at dealers to being ready for collection, it was actually ready for collection second week of Jan but decided to wait for the beginning of the new month, can't fault the service.

Having waited until beginning of Feb you might as well have waited until beginning of March and got an 07 reg?
£1000 difference in value between 06/56 (according to Glass's) so probably similar between 56/07?

My original plan was to wait until March, but it's a long story involving the Golf I was selling. Not too worried about it being a 56 it's still a 2007 car and I intend to put private plates on it soon.

Hello,
I am patiently awaiting my new eos but am thinking forward to driving it this summer and I was wondering if anyone has found a bike rack for the EOS? I have been told that a hitch and trailer is the only option..Say it isnt so!
