Hi.
Picked up my USA EOS on 3/26/07. 3.2L Paprika Red with Cornsilk Beige including the Technology package and and Sport package. I think the car is just about loaded except I don't have the navigation. Moved from a 06 Lexus GS and really love my new EOS, no comparison when it comes to fun to drive! First thing I did was pick up the VAG-COM and changed the following.

Turn off seat belt chime
Turn on open and close windows with remote
Turn on close sunroof with remote
Turn on use fog lights for DRL

One big question for me is what do I have to change with the VAG-COM to disable the key left in ignition chime when drivers door is open. I believe this is possible through changing the country code. Any help on this will be appreciated very much.

I will enter my info in the VAG Tool Locator and be glad to help anyone if I can. I also bought the Bentley repair CD.

They also sell the bentley factory repair manuals for US/Canadian markets on CD at a discounted rate if you are A registered VAG-COM user or buy both products at the same time.

I bought the VAG-COM License with HEX-USB+CAN Interface with the Bentley CD. I also downloaded the software from the Ross-Tech site.
It is running fine on my MacBook Pro on a partition made with BootCamp that has XP home installed on it.
