I was searching the web tonight and found this link which list American VW sales for April 09. Based on the figures, how long will the EOS be sold in America?

Figures aren't as bad as those for the Golf (Rabbit) GTi or R32 or the Beetle Convertible.

They can't withdraw all their interesting cars from the market otherwise they become just another boring company. They need the halo cars. I'd be surprised if they do withdraw it; they must try to weather the storm.

Gee - quite a few brands in Australia would dream of numbers like that.

Eos Sales in Australia only number 1000-1500 for a full year, and I doubt they would pull them on that basis.

realize, though, that these sales kinda make sense considering the harsh economic problems going on starting in late 2008

And the price they sell for here in addition to less options each year......
