That's a shame :(

What did you decide on in the end?

Tats a drastic change!

I have a Honda Stream which I am contemplating to have it replaced.

Either VW Tiguan or Audi Q5.

But hopefully I also would like to get a Beemer 335 Sedan.

Will not replace the EOS tho...my wife luvs it.

So now looking for new career opportunity to finance my interests!

It's better than the mould I have :) it's really nice same engine as the eos has 2.0 tdi and its 4 wheel drive for the typical british weather we have.

My intuition suggests you will have another Eos in the future and this will make you very happy.

UK and Germany are Europe's 2 biggest markets for convertibles and have read lots of opinions why.

It's really too hot and sunny in southern Europe a lot of the time for them, and it's too cold in northern Europe so they buy very few. But here you can get open-top weather a good 8 months of the year, from March right through to the end of October. And we like to make the best of any day when it's nice and sunny, because we don't know what we're going to get or when! I think that's why they sell so many here. It's neither too hot nor too cold most of the time so they're actually more practical here than in many hot countries and we like to make the best of what we get whenever we can.

Happy off-roading Steph!

You must be crazier than me because I certainly haven't had the roof down more that 4 times this year. Maybe because I'm northwest I get more rain!

I'm not going off roading lol! It's alot safer than a eos is. :)

Pat you won't get rid of me that easy I'll be emailing you still

Take care

I know it's wet over there but I didn't think it was that bad! I would say I've had the roof down perhaps two-thirds of all my driving time in the last 4 months. There was a wet spell in July when it wasn't possible for days at a time but I can hardly remember the last time I drove with the roof up at the moment!

Many people would take issue with you that a Jeep is in any way 'safer' than and Eos! Can't really see in what way it could be.

It's alot higher up than a eos plus they weigh more than an eos and compared to the body of an eos it's alot thicker instead of being like paper thin

Anyways I'm off now

Take care

Don't think you'd get the guys who do the safety testing at NCAP to agree with you there Steph.
Anyway, good-bye and good luck!

Just because Snobbers has fone Steph doesnt mean you cant still participate here.

In fact I think it will be very good, as an ex owner you are well placed to advise people on the best car in the world.

You can detail your own experiences and pass on genuine opinion.

Good luck with the new car.

Bearing in mind the problems I'm having with handling in the snow & ice at the moment....i think Steph has had the last laugh!

Barchetta - do you honestly think that the Eos is 'the best car in the world'? I think the guys on Top Gear would argue with you on that one.....

:p I might have I was out in my little jeep the other week when the snow was a good 2 foot high with no problems at all I'm having a cracking time in it.The only slight problem I did have was that it slid down my driveway and into the middle of the road luckily my road isn't that busy!

Anyone I see now with an eos I tell them about the problems I've had and tell them to keep checking under the mats.

I hope your all still enjoying your eos's and taking care of yourselves :D
