just noticed on a members black EOS the their sunvisors are grey where as mine is black does that mean the headlining is also light?
i know mine is early 2006 without the cherry lights and chrome stuff but is there more?

I haven't seen my headliner much so I actually have no idea what color it is. I guess I will have to look next time the top is up.

I would just like to get rid of the ugly seat belt advisory warnings! Apparently VWVortex Forum has some suggestions on how; but so far I don't have the courage for fear of ruining the visor!

I know! I saw that thread and I admit I'm somewhat a chicken to try. New visors aren't cheap. If you get the nerve let us know if it works well...

FYI if you want one with the homelink.... $450.00

Ouch! Don't think I'll be rushing to try! Now, if you want to try first .... be my guest!

the real question is: does the headlining match the carpets!?!?!?!?!? Turns out my Eos is a cornsilk blonde posing as brunette!!!

Archie,
Mine does. Island Grey/Red nappa. Black carpets, Black headlining & visors. Don't see headlining often only when I park up as the tops down otherwise.

Jim.

Mine is an EOS 2.0T with the performance package and the DSG 6-speed transmission.
It has the island gray pearlescent exterior with the cornsilk beige leather interior, and a slightly darker shade of tan carpet. The headliner and second color interior trim is a charcoal/black color, and the windshield "A" pillars, windshield valence, and sun visors are all black.

As fas as I can ascertain, all new EOS' have a black lining. Now this is the UK where choices seem to be quite limited. I have a black car with cream leather upholstery and when I ordered it (apart from the fact that no one seemed to really know!) I was told that they are ALL black linings. Well, it arrived - it's black. Some of the glossy marketing brochures show huge variations but maybe somebody 'pinked' them? who knows.....
