Hiya,

Don't know if anyone else has had this happen yet but got back to my car tonight in the car park - pay and display ticket nicely settled on the dash. Open up the drivers door, one quick gust of wind and the ticket lodged itself between the windscreen and dash.

Tried turning the blowers and etc. and no luck fishing it out. Gave it a bit of thought and come up with a long cable tie with a blob of blu tack tightly squeezed on the end.

Was a bit tricky but managed to fish the ticket out in the end :)

On a separate note with all this warm weather - has anyone else noticed their tickets on the dash looking like they're getting burned by the sun?

exactly the same happened to me i cant retrieve mine god knows where its gone cant even see it , it fell so deep, hope it dont cause no problems!

Thanks for the tip, I will avoid putting things on the dash like parking tickets, its just such a normal thing to do. Perhaps VW should supply BluTac to stick them down on the dash.;)

After saying that - I almost did it again today - luckily managed to catch the ticket :)

tezmand - I couldn't spot it in the daylight but at night shining a torch from inside down the gap managed to give me a reflection of where the ticket was - did end up contorted a fair bit over the wheel with my head against the windscreen though! :)

GOgg - I thought about BluTac but wasn't sure if it'd leave a greasy mark on the dash.
