Good morning from Canada. The snow is long gone and I can finally put the top down! I had started a thread regarding a crackle noise from the dash/driver side of the car. I drove it on a highway near my parents farm yesterday. The noise appeared as I increased my speed past 70 km, but it also increased when large, heavy dump trucks passed me heading the opposite direction to a local recycling plant. I suspect this is not only speed related but wind related. The good news is with the top down and the music playing this becomes a very minor issue given the other pleasures of driving this car. I too have a rattle in the front left part of the car. I wouldn't call it a crackle however. The car has about 1500 miles and already an annoying repetitive noise. Speed isn't an issue, neither are passing vehicles. The only time is doesn't make it is when I'm on brand new, smooth pavement.

Hi - the rattle was fixed - a piece of plastic behind the front fender had become loose - three bolts were tightened and the rattle is gone!:D
