I got it on my 2008 Lux. I have been VERY happy with it. Very clear sound top up or down; plenty of power without distortion; great Bass. Highly recommended IMO, but to be honest, I really didn't spend much time with the non-dynaudio radio top down. My best comparison to non-Dynaudio is the radio I had in a loaner Passat recently and it just seemed like "something was missing".

Thanks, anyone else got dyna audio fitted?

How's it compare to the standard set up? Is it worth the extra money?

Got it on my 07. More than happy with it.

Had the Dynaudio fitted to my '07 Eos and was very happy with the sound quality. It is definitely superior to the standard audio set up.

It certainly is better than the Bose system fitted to various Audi vehicles and to the Harman Kardon systems fitted to various Mercedes cars I have driven.

I have an HK system in my 125i convertible with after tweaking with the EQ with is available in the Head Unit gets close to what the Dynaudio produced left set to neutral.

I got the option without hearing it but was totally happy with the result.

I have the Dynaudio in my 07 Lux and just love it. I have had plenty of times where I have cranked Megadeth and Metallica and thought I would blow speakers but it handled it just fine.

Plus there are also those "Sting" and "Seal" kinda days where I can crank it also and it turns out pure gentle music bliss...

I have it fitted in my 08 and I’m well impressed, great sounds (except when the front door speakers went bang and I‘ve had two replacement heads), the amp and additional speakers make a world of difference to your listening pleasure (top up or down). Big sounds without distortion, pump up the volume and be amazed, you just don’t get the same quality from any standard ICE and the additional sound deadening material that is used really does seem to eliminate panel boom (which is always a source of amusement to me when you hear some amped up tin can go by with all the panels vibrating to the beat)

Here's a nice interactive view of the Dynaudio setup in the Eos. (from www.dynaudio.com)
