Don't want to depress you but mine was built on the 16th May and has been awaiting shipping for a month. Finaly it is on the ship but I bet it waits at the docks this side of the channel!!!!!!!
Gavster 05-18-2007, 10:16 AM DDLWEB, whereabouts in SE Essex are you?
furrydice 05-18-2007, 05:38 PM EOS Cruise,
left HH west Sussex, last Saturday, cloudy north of the South Downs, got down into Brighton sun out, dropped the top immediately, got rather a few looks as the roof lowered!! fantastic shades on blowing out Freddie Mecury!!
sfs217 05-19-2007, 01:52 AM Hi Gavster,
Mine was build week 20 which was week commencing 7th May. Week 25 should be week commencing 11th June I think. Then just waiting for shipping which I've been quoted within 2 weeks!
Dilsta 05-21-2007, 09:38 AM OK, The numbers are coming in slowly, perhaps we aim for August Bank Holiday Monday..... At least most of us will have the day off.... Weather permitting of course.... finally had the roof down yesterday after 3 weeks of rain...love this car.
Scooby Doo 05-22-2007, 11:22 AM I know I'm EOSless at the moment but only 6 (very hopeful) weeks to go! Would anyone be up for a Leeds/York to Bridlington/Whitby? End August or perhaps a balmy September evening?:)

I'm a little bit further North, but not that far, I would be up for it.

tishysmith 06-01-2007, 12:40 AM Hi all
I would be up for a northern EOS A THON. Could join in York, think it would be great fun. We were in Scarborough yesterday and the car got lots of admiring looks. Imagine what a line of them would look like! Will look out for any news on a possible trip.
Regards Trish
Dilsta 06-01-2007, 10:26 PM Its great to see the numbers growing......who knows, it could become an annual weekender a north to south thing when numbers grow, or even a location in the midlands so we can all meet up.....watch this space.....2008 could be the First annual EOS UK forum get together.......
jenny 06-05-2007, 04:57 PM Hi got my eos on 24th may its fab done a 1000 miles already drove from huddersfield to Oban Scotland got some admiring looks mine was built on week 16 which was week comm 16th april and picked it up 24th may was worth the wait so i will be on the lookout for any other eos drivers
Hi, Jenny. Congratualtions on your mega EDA to Oban and hopefully may more to come. Welcome to the club, how about adding a signature so we can see what the spec is like.
PS post some pics as well.

Simon Hooper 06-08-2007, 10:29 PM Hi
I am new here....I registered after seeing the London to Brighton Eos-a-thon post. I would love to join in ... I live half way between the two, so would like to join in as you pass on by if that is ok.
Hello to all the new and old eos owners.
best regards
Simon
Tintin 06-10-2007, 12:13 AM Hi to all the EOS lovers,
Just like Simon, I am very interested in a London to Brighton cruise (roof down if possible). I am hoping to post some pictures soon. I also need to sort out a signature, I know, showing what I have (bought mine back in mid December and I absolutely love it). I agree with a thread I have read about how miserable EOS drivers are (they obviously need to be made aware of this website). I have met three EOS so far on the road, which I have flashed as a 'hello' gesture and I have been completely ignored. Prior to my EOS, I used to have an Alfa Romeo 156 which I purchased when they first came out and each time I met one on the road, I used to flash my lights and I always used to get an answer back. May be the EOS drivers are soo much in the clouds dreaming (especially with the roof down) that they have lost touch with what is happening around them.
Anyway, this is a good forum, keep the good work. For those of you still waiting for their EOS, however long the wait is, it is UTTERLY and COMPLETELY and ABSOLUTELY worth the wait.
Gavster 06-10-2007, 08:23 AM Hi Tintin,
What this community needs is more members and we have a site flyer that we can put on other EOS's to introduce ourselves.
You can find it by clicking here (http://members.lycos.co.uk/vweos/VW_EOS_CLUB_WITH_NAME.pdf)
I think it would be worth all members printing a few and keeping them in their car so they have them to hand when spotting another EOS.
Tintin 06-16-2007, 01:39 AM Gavster,
I agree and that's exactly what I have done.
Regards,
Tintin

Tintin,
There is also a bumper sticker coming soon. Andrew, Site Cordinator, is just finalizing someone to co-ordinate the UK and will bulk mail a supply to that person. That person will then mail them to individual members in the UK. You will likely see something about it in the next week or so!
Dilsta 06-19-2007, 05:50 PM Bank Holiday August weekend.....dates TBC.....Route TBC.....please all feel free to have input into the route....Brighton People where should it end? This is our EOSATHON !!!
Gavster 06-19-2007, 06:26 PM Is this to be THE Annual London to Brighton EOSATHON? If we can get enough EOS's we may be able to get some publicity, whether that be local tv, radio or paper, or perhaps something else.
I would certainly have a go at drumming up some media interest.
