I might take this opportunity to remind members to be very cautious about opening links of this type from 1st time posters where the URL is hidden and not able to be read.

The link might be genuine but might also be a link to a malicious website.

I will not be opening this link for this reason and suggest to any members that might have opened this link to run a spyware/malware check on their computer with an up-to-date scanning programme.

I don't like the "Eclipse" style front side windows.

Very poor design, especially for a concept idea.

well, maybe the ItalDesign Giugiaro will make a better concept, 'cause I saw on the same site[yes I know, bad design & stuff-but it shows the latest news way ahead of other sites] that they want to buy (http://www.auto-power-girl.com/cars-news/2010/05/19/volkswagen/4414/volkswagen_to_buy_italdesign_giugiaro.html) the ItalDesign Giugiaro.They say, it's because they want to be the biggest car maker in the world by 2018.Sounds like a good investment:D

Back to square 1 then as of course Giugiaro designed the original Mk1 Golf which rescued VW from oblivion post-Beetle and of course went on to influence the whole world of car design.

The 'New' Beetle doesn't look much different from the current one to me, which I don't like one little bit either...

I think it's "edgy" and looks like a winner to me. However, I don't prefer edgy as I find this kind of design can fade too quickly. AND, IT'S NOT A CONVERTIBLE.
