Hi All

Thinking of going to the petrol option of the Eos. But wanted to know how much MPG do people get out of them in city and purely motorway etc. Also how much do you get out of £10 in todays economic climate?

Thanks

Hmmm around tow usually average 620km out of a full tank. Hiway have manage to eke out 890km - Gotta stay under 105kmh fot that - Most economic speed is 95kmh (Petrol)

Cheers

If you want a comparison to diesel, I normally fill mine up at around 820-850km from the tank.

I typically put in 50-52 litres.

This is calculating out to about 6.4l/100km, which is under what VW claimed for the 2008 model.

I have a lifetime mile computation going on my iPhone (actual gallons and miles) verses the trip computer. At around 14,000 miles, I'm averaging 27. On the highway at 65-70MPH, I get around 32-33 MPG on the trip computer which is backed up by my manual iPhone app. Yeah, it's a bit anal, but it's an app and I have to feed it data to keep it happy.

What - your Iphone is averaging 27 miles per gallon?

I don't have one myself, but I am reasonable sure most Autralian models run on re-chargeable betteries - must be something to do with this global warming thing.

2.0 TFsi Going by the trip computer (which seems reasonably accurate) i get 28-32mpg on a fast run to work mix of A and B roads. 37 - 39 going steady. 40 on a long motorway run. Approx 380 (fast) to 430 (steady) miles to tank depending on driving. Cruise control helps by about 2mpg. Air con off helps by about 2mpg.

I know its the TFSi, but once you get the turbo you wont look back!

Yes I am a geek........sometimes;)

Just looked at the 2.0 T FSI.. was thinking about this one and now one has popped up on sale in my budget region.. was thinking of doing exactly what your thinking.. remap it so its equivalent to an R32 then put a Miltek R32 Exhaust.. How much mileage you get out of a £10 in todays climate.. Also is yours automatic or Manual?
