Hello, I have not seen any mention of the fact that you cannot lift up the windscreen wipers on the Eos in order to clean the windscreen with them stowed up and out of the way. Seems a pretty silly oversight on VW's part if this is a genuine oversight. Or am I missing something?:(

Have you tried the method that works on the current model Golf?
After you turn the ignition off, you hold down the wiper stalk and the wipers move so that they point straight up, and then park themselves there.

Didn't know that, thanks. I've been slightly lifting the wipers up and carefully cleaning under them!! D'oh!:p

Damn! And I thought I'd read the book! I ALWAYS RTFM, but its not the only thing I missed! Thought I was going mad in rain recently - sitting at lights and the wipers were intermittent wipe, then went to full wipe when I moved off. I was entranced, and 20 minutes later I did RTFM, and there it was in black and white, another 'feature'! The wipers drop to the next speed down when the Eos is stationary - probably a VW family thing, but one I wasn't aware of!!
Thanks for the tip anyway!!

You seem to have 2 identical threads running so I'll post my reply on this one too!
According to the Owners' Handbook what you need to do is:
1) Switch ignition on then straight off again.
2) Push lever down as if flick-wiping.
Wipers will move into the upright position for washing then you can just lift them off the windscreen.
When you've finished switch the ignition on again, push flick-wipe again and they'll park. Switch off.
