I spend ages cleaning my wheels making sure they're sparkling and putting tyre cleaner on. I've neglected cleaning the two exhaust tailpipes.
Yesterday I got down and sat on the floor and spent a while polishing the pipes back up because they were virtually black and unnoticable. How much better the back end looks! My parents came round last night and my father even mentioned it without any prompting from me.
Only problem now is how good would the ABT back end look with the quad pipes??

I definitley clean my exhaust everytime a I wash my car to try to keep up with the soot.
I normally wash mine last during the car washing exercise because of the soot problem. Once dry they are subjected to a good rub and polish with Autosol cream and a duster. Finish is getting better all the time.

I use MEGUIAR'S "Automobile Shampoo & Paint Conditioner" to wash my EOS (which is about every 10 days to 2 weeks) and EVERY time I wash the car, I wash the stainless steel dual exhaust tips with the same stuff.
About every other time I "polish" the stainless steel exhaust tips with Eagle One "Wadding Polish"....which comes in a short, round silver can....and you just tear off a medium "piece" of the polish treated material and rub it on the exhaust tips until it starts to dry and starts to shine. Then let it dry completely and buff it off with a soft, cotton terry cloth towel.....and voila....the tips shine like a new penny. I have noticed that by doing this, the tips stay cleaner looking longer, and don't seem to get as dirty as they used to, in between my washings.....:) :D  !!!
I thought I was the only wacko that washes under my cars.
I'm not so crazy after all!:D

Have to confess to being a serial exhaust-pipe polisher.. Can't imagine what I would do with my life if I had the Eos TDI!
The 4-pipe tail looks brilliant on ABT's website but can't help feeling that the 4-pipe set-up has been devalued of late. It used to be just Ferraris and a handful of other Italian exotics had them but it seems to have crept down to cars that should really have a single pea-shooter now so they are completely meaningless. In fact I'm thinking about switching my TVR's 4-pipe exhaust back to 2-pipe as every other car/SUV now seems to have 4.
