took my baby in to the dealership for work doing on my roof (my fault smart top does not like corners lol!)and they told me it would be two days as they were going to valet it too so off i drive in a 1.0l polo!!!!! and get a call half way through the second day telling me that the eos technician was on honeymoon :eek: apparently they ommited to tell me this when i booked it in so without my car in glorious weather for 2 days and all they did was wash it ! not amused at all

Sounds normal - I booked mine in to have one of the head-liner strings replaced. They looked at it for a day and then told me I had to book it in the next week when they had the strings in stock.

Seems to be standard practice these days.
They carry very few parts in stock so want the car in to see what they need then they order the part/s (usually for arrival next day), so most jobs mean 2 visits to sort out..
