hey all... Russell here in Florida.. I have had my Eos for about a month.. LOVE IT!!! I have Candy White with Grey Leather with 3.2L engine... all the bells and whistles... I have also customized it... pictures to come...

Just a quick question... I have the ipod interface in the armrest... I dont seem to have the proper adapter for the newest version of the nano.... what to do? who do I contact?

That was what I found as well, it does not fit due to the off set connector.
I used the original (wrong one!) by sliding the nano into the adaptor near the top then insert the nano onto the connector and then slide the adaptor down gently to provide a snug fit.

Its not ideal but it works for me but I tend not to un-park it very often.

(I did not try with the dealer to get an updated adaptor, if such a thing is available can some one let us know.)

Doesn't the iPod and the adapter in the car use the standard 3.5mm cable you can buy just about anywhere?

No, it's not a cable its a lump of plastic that modifes a hole to take an iPod by reducing its size to accomodate the nano iPod.

My Nano fits fine, but its about 18 months old now - is it the latest Nano's whose design has changed then???

Yes, the connector is off centre and the body edges are round and not squared off like the older generation pods.

I think iPud shuffles come with a little adapter to helpt them fit in the ofset a little more intuitively....its designed for the iPud Dock that apple seels that is one dock for all models with the adapter, but the adapter comes with the shuffle...

You can use the adaptor supplied but it is fiddly.
