Hi folks, just received confirmation that my new EOS is at the dealership and should be ready to pick up in a few weeks. I need to wait for the lease on my current ride to expire before I can get the new one!!! :(

I've been waiting about 6 weeks already so this is just killing me.

I'm getting the new 155KW petrol auto in black metalic. Leather is now included for free :). Also getting bluetooth, MDI, alarm and a tow bar. Not sure how the factory towbar works as the dealer couldn't show me details or a photo. Just have to wait and see.

The weather is now starting to warm up in Sydney so by the time I get it it will be just perfect.

Any other Sydney owners on the forum??

Coutta.

October changes.

Looking at the latest Eos information there have been several upgrades-

Engine upgraded to 155KW 2.0TSI.
Electronic Diff Lock.
Hill Start Assist.
Vienna leather seats with heating and electric lumbar support. (Beige or Black only)
Axillary Input in centre console.

And new options-

Adaptive chassis control.
Factory Bluetooth.
Factory Media Device Interface in the centre console.

No more Individual or Napa Leather options and Chicargo wheels are the only factory 18" option.

Which Dealership did you use?

I ordered it through McGrath at Sutherland. They seemed like a good dealership, hope the service dept are as good on VW.

I'm considering an extended warranty as I am taking the car as a 5 year lease, but I was quoted $3,390 for the original VW one!!!

Anyone else take up the extended warranty??

I picked up my new Black EOS 155 tsi last Oct. 2010 model and I had to wait 6 months on order!

Its an awsome vehicle! One thing though - it has Daytime HEADLights that you cant turn off unless you switch to Parking lights!
