Saw this photo on the internet and thought I would share it.

This spoiler was done by JE Design. I quite like it.

looks a little too angular for me
like the idea of a spoiler as boot a little too flat but think i will wait for the inevitable vw one

From another forum -- this ABT spoiler looks real sleak . . . http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3246758

Agreed, its the best one I've seen regarding blending with the Eos curves.

saw that spoiler on the VWvortex site as well. Looks very nice indeed. I have asked my dealership if VW will be selling a spoiler in the near future, but they haven't got back to me. If VW doesn't sell it or approve of the installation of an after market product, I'm afraid of them not honoring the warranty if something should happen to the mechanics inside the trunk.

Not a problem Hugh,

I had them install mine for me, so it is NOT an issue!

If I decide to buy an aftermarket spoiler I will definitely have my VW dealer install it. I spoke with a VW Canada rep on the phone this morning, and of course he told me they would not approve the installation of an after market part. I don't think it would be a problem, but like you said, as long as they install it, its a non issue.

Cheers!

P.S. sunny and 29-30 degree sunny weekend here. First really hot weather for top down cruisin' :) I found a post on the vwvortex site about an Alberta get together, so a few of us will be getting together on Sunday for an EDA!!

Have a good get together. Understand you are meeting with a dealer to have an EOS clinic. Great idea! Enjoy!
