Hi guys,

We need to buy a new child seat for our 4 year old daughter as our current Isofox Duo does not fit in the EOS.

Any seat we buy must be Isofix and hopefully won't be too tall as we don't want little Amber sitting up too high when the top's down.

Does anybody on the forum have a child seat in the rear of their EOS and if so, which one and are you happy with it?

Not isofix, but my 4 and 7 year olds are just on basic booster seats which aren't too high at all. They are both tall with the 4 year old being about as tall as a 6 year old. It is very cramped in the back with 2 seats though... very narrow compared with my Golf! I was quite surprised.

I too will be needing an ISO fix car seat and could do with info of the ones that fit.

When we went to Halfords to look at seats, they advised that as our daughter is 4 years old (actually she is closer to 5) that all we would need is a booster style car seat this fits any car.

What I can tell you is that the Britax ISOFIX Duo that we had been using did not fit in the EOS when I tried it.

Daughter is only coming upto 1 so we need something like the Britax. Looks like I shall have to go around some nursery shops and try a few. You would think that VW would recomend some as they have designed the seats with ISO fix.

my friend has a baby and she purchased through vw a bobsy gi isofix duo child seat part no 000v019909a £170. apparently she had a choice of a few these are shown on www.volkswagen.co.uk/accessories (choose eos then cllick on safety)

Just bought the BRITAX ISOFIX DUO in black from Halfords. The fittings have changed recently and it fits in perfectly in both EOS and Passatt. It also dosn't have too much of a base on it so it dosn't sit too high in the back of the EOS. £170 as currently has £20 off
