I'm just about to place my order, but no one from the dealer can tell me if the seats have a "user" memory function? By this i mean that if i'm driving the seat position can be memorized, and if mu wife drives she can memorize her position? In other cars there are buttons for this like 1, 2, 3 for 3 differnt driver memory postions. Id this the case on these as expensive option if no memory???

Hi There!
Sorry to break the news. I've got electric seats, but there is no memory option whatsoever, not even for primary driver. Also, just the driver seat is electric, while the passenger seat is manual. In my case (Canadian configuration), the driver's electric seat came as part of a "Sport Package" which included a lot of other options which made the total package worthwhile.

We did not spec the electric seats as you have to wait an age to let somebody into the back whereas with the manual seats you just lift the lever and push the seat forward in a second.

My Carat model came as standard with both front electric seats. I've not found a memory function.
The seats are not slow to move though. There are 2 controls. The normal seat adjustment which naturally is a bit slow. To allow entry to the rear there is a 2nd control by the lift handle this is pretty fast and very easy to use. Does mean you need to do final adjustment afterwards.
I'm very pleased with them but not sure I would have paid for them as an option - silly money.

Jim.

Hi Jim,

Sorry to change the subject ever so slightly but how do you find the Dynaudio setup?

Hi Gavin,
Not had the EOS that long to fully test it out (2 days driving then off to England to see the family for a couple of weeks). But so far I'm well pleased with the sound when driving top down. Except for when parked on my drive, havn't tried it out with the top up yet, but I expect it should be even better.
I think you'll find everyone that have opted for the dynaudio are pleased.
