Just watched this EOS video on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbt5cBfSr1I in which the American presenter talks about the 'VW E-OH-S'.
This side of the pond we refer to the car as the 'EOS' with the letter 'O' pronounced the same as in the word 'soft'.
Anyhow - its quite a good video and they too like the Turbo engine over the others :o :p

EE-OSS in English.
The Germans would say AY-OSS however!
I suppose it should be correctly pronounced in Greek, Nikak can you help?

In Greek it would be pronounced E (as in "EnErgy") O (as in "sOft") S (as in "Say")
Many thanks, now we know the correct way to say it.
cheers

In Bristol they would probably say E-arse. ;)
So the French seem to have learned from the Greeks: we say EOS like explained by our Greek-saavy folk.
