I have a 3.2 v6 and have found out that the two 6v batteries are in the luggage compartement, does anyone know, or have actual experience in how to undoe the clips ,(round plastic things with a hole in the centre) holding the trim panels ,covering the battery.

PS why doesnt the manual state this ,ie. 2, 6v and not one 12v battery,confused the hell out of Halfords.

It doesn't take much to confuse Halfords.
If I remember correctly, the studs that retain the battery covers in the boot of the 3.2 Eos push in, but screw out in a normal screw-like fashion
