Hi guys thinking about upgrading boring radio/cd player for an inbuilt sat nav/dvd/cd player, the VW unit is very expensive and have heard that the Kenwood unit aint all that. I have about £850 to spend (dont want to go secondhand rout (might be stolen)) so if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. Cheers Mick.

Hi Mick,

There are some genuine approved sellers on fleabay. They sell brand new units and refurbed ones.

The brand new ones are a touch over your limit, but you do get 12 months cover.

The original radio in your dash is very easy to change over, and works straight away with the reversing sensors.

You will need to have the canbus recognised to get your satnav display on MFD tho.

hi Jake how much did it cost in the end (inc delivery and taxes)

412 dollars ,that £266.I didn`t pay any tax this end,I may have just been lucky though.

It came really quick from HK,ordered Fri arrived monday afternoon(DHL).

Early days with it yet,and I haven`t got the radio side set up yet,as I needed to order a twin Fakra to single Fakra adapter.

IGO was pre-installed,bluetooth to phone works well,DVD/CD playback is good,not bothered with the TV side.It also displays the optical parking setup when reversing.
