joolzh13 06-04-2007, 09:37 AM How annoying - I tried to get this trim but VW Head Office said it wasn't possible - if they told me I could have waited until August I would have waited! GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
sethworld 06-04-2007, 12:37 PM I am happy with mine, but I would of had to really think about getting that if I didn't already have mine.

I've learned by bitter experience that if VW UK HQ tell you something then you can be pretty sure it's wrong...
Oh well, there's always your next car to think about!
schoolhousefred 06-04-2007, 12:48 PM Isn't that always the case ... with everything you buy. The manfacturer always does something a little newer and better in the next year's line to attract new buyers and "keep the pot boiling"!

Yeah...thats something that Ford FAILED to do with the newer T-birds... 'Nuff said..
The Individual trim looks wonderful.... but that piano black interior... what a dust magnet... to maintain that black on black blacks with the black exterior along with the blackity black blacks and black black black.....
If you are remotely O.C.D. don't get this trim... You'll spend most of your time either maintaining the black gloss or lamenting its decline in luster!!!

I wonder what it will cost ? If adds substantially to base cost, you might be able to justify the customizing and upgrades to you current EOS for less money.

My favorite thing about the Individual is the two tone upholstery and welting. You can't upgrade to that here in the states for love or money. My guess is around year 3-3 1/2 the individual will be offered here. Or, on the German site, there is now an Eos special edition. That will probably show up here at year 2 1/2 -- after I order my Eos and it is too late to make changes!!!:(
I suppose its just a matter of personal taste but i'm afraid I dont like the interior. I prefer a simpler style albeit a sportier one rather than that offered here.

Agree it sounds a bit bling but will reserve judgement until I see one (if I see one - that price is quite something!)
lanmarc 06-05-2007, 03:21 PM The EOS Individual has been available for order in Australia since the EOS's release on March 1 2007.
It comes at a premium of $A6,990 on top of the base price of $A52,290 for the 2.0T FSI DSG (compared to A$3,890 for the red Napa option).
(For your info, at current exchange rates, the above 3 costs are US $5,731/$42,872/$3,189 or GBP 2,855/21,360/1,589).
Of course, you folks in US/Europe would probably get it cheaper.
There is some information on the Individual available in the Australian EOS brochure at:

Hi
I test-drove an EOS individual last week. It has just arrived in France. One dealer told me VW is getting rid of beige leather they cannot sell... I almost went for one before deciding for the one I've ordered. Reasons for not chosing the Individual: 18'' custom rims (way to expensive to change or repair + very unconfortable for a car that inspires comfort from the design out), too much of a 'custom-car' (looks like it's been tuned overnight), and only available as demo car for sale in French VW outlets, or on order but with 4-6 mth delay.
This being said, it looks pretty cool if you feel you need to be looked at at all times, comes with Dynaudio, DSG, leather, bi-xenon...
Gavster 06-05-2007, 06:37 PM Asked my dealer how much extra yesterday and he said its at least £2,000 more than standard
Hi. There is a pack that can be orderedwith any new EOS, called Individual, that gives Dynaudio, bi-xenon, bi-colour (black/beige) nappa leather, some more chrome, the 18'' model-specific rims and a couple of extra design details. Given the cost of a Dynaudio+bi-xenon+18"" rims, it is definitely worth it if you want your EOS to look as if it were tuned for a car-torturer's get-together ;-) (kidding... am I???)... No it does look great, but I feel like I'd get bored after a few months...
I have ivory leather in the Honda and after 3 years it looks tired and dirty (no amount of cleaning helps) in contrast my daughters Cora Exclusive of similar age but slightly fewer miles sitll looks as good as new.
She has black paintwork and it is a real pain to keep it LOOKING clean - just after you wash it the dust starts settling and it starts looking dirty.
Black car with cream leather - no thanks!

What on earth's a 'Cora Exclusive'?

I'm with Graham on this! Too bling for me!!
Paul:cool:
Just a guess but I suspect it was a Vauxhall Corsa misstyped
Yes Corsa mistyped.
A Corsa exclusiv, for those not in the know, is a 1.4 SXi with a few extras including automatic air con, leather heated seats and a body kit. Quite sought after second hand as there were only 1000 of them built - in two batches.
They are rarer than Eoses! but dont look that different to other Corsas.
Quite a nice car for a Vauxhall and the only thing that is important is that she loves it.
