Picked up my new EOS last Thursday and have not stopped driving it since. Went for the 2.0T sport (FSI) in pearl black with IPOD in arm rest. Could not afford the leather seats and the Turbo so went for more power. Still I'm quite impressed with the cloth seats and being 6'3" they seem to sit a little lower in the car giving me more head room. :)

Let me be the first to congratulate you. All the best for lots of great days out or *ahem* EDA's in her!

We went the other way and have the 2.0 with leather etc.

I am 6' 2" and have no problems with headroom - especially with the roof down.

Will keep an eye open for you.

Hell, if you had a headroom problem with the roof down you really would have a problem...

Thanks everyone.

If I pass IanJ in Rugeley with my turbo he'll look cooler with the leather interior. Still I had a budget and had to keep within it.

You made a good choice anyway. Much as I love leather having nearly 200 bhp under your right foot is extremely satisfying..!

Agreed! Covered 3,000 miles since the first week in May now, the engine is loosening up quite nicely, and coming out of a bend in second, foot flat to the floor, feels quite nice to me!!!!!

And congratulations on your new car - second month for me and still feels terrific, especially on top down days!! Last Saturday afternoon, Mrs Smoggy and I, cruising along Brighton prom, top down + shades on, The Who 'Won't get fooled again' at 11 on the volume, shouting "we're middle aged and we don't care" - priceless, absolutely priceless! Enjoy all your EDA's!!

Mine doesn't quite qualify as 'new' any more since I've had it since last July (13500 miles now) but it's still just as exciting every time I drive it! What's more I don't seem to have any of the problems that plagues others (better touch some wood...) It's just a great car!

You'll just have to trawl through my previous posts. Sorry.
Second thoughts, don't bother; most of them are too boring anyway!
