How did it all go?

superb mate - took 30 minutes to do all the paperwork and then off I went. Still haven't got the iPod working yet but think thats coz I have some CDs in. Will try that later. Already lost count of the amount of times the roof has come down!

The 2.0FSi is a lovely engine, and I'd forgotten what brakes were!!!

Got lots of smiles from people - it's a very happy car. Loving the metallic midnight blue too, a very good choice.

I think they're slowly but surely starting to increase in numbers. I spotted one similar to mine, bravely parked in the Tescos' car park in my home town. So that's 2 silver and 1 black in the area so far...

Tell you what Nail-z,

We should all drive down your way - reckon some of the scenery must make for great photos!

I've had a proper EOS weekend. Got home at 10:30 Friday night to find a grey one parked outside my house, then on Saturday I helped a friend move house and there was another EOS parked opposite his new house. Then on Sunday one passed me while I was in my girlfriends car.

Still not passed one actually driving mine yet but I'll keep trying!!

Ive seen 2 Eos 's (or should that be Eoses?) this week on the ring road around York, one silver and one black. Neither of the drivers waved I was quite disappointed! My kids think im crackers as I go mad when I see one! Dont know if any of the owners use this forum? Let me know if you do.

Hi Tishysmith

It could have been me around York in the black one - I work on the Science Park. I did see a couple of Eoses this week - a dark blue one joining the ring road near the racecourse (top up) and a black one driving up through Fulford (top down)! I haven't got my 'eye in' yet on spotting Eoses, so by the time I realise what they are and think to wave, the opportunity has passed!

Will try better!!! What colour's yours?

I regularly see a handful of Eoses around Reading, where I work, and [usually parked up] in Brighton, near to where I live.

Despite my looking and waving not one other Eos driver has ever acknowledged my existence so far - clearly they aren't forum members!!!!!

Bobster here folks! Had mine for 2 weeks now. I still have the cheesy grin and the car is a pleasure to drive. Had so many nice coments from all my friends and people from work who are green with envy.
Just one thing though... if you have a receeding hair line ,wear a hat when the roof is down or wear some sun block. Happy motoring to all EOS owners.
PS. I work for Jaguar cars

Sound advice!! And watch out for the back of the neck, even if wearing a peaked baseball cap that doesn't get protected. I'm starting to favour a nice Australian hat with a wide brim all round. Hey, maybe this could be a new thread 'what do YOU wear when driving top down, full sun?'

Cheers

Full sun what's that? I can't remember when I last saw it. I suppose one can always dream:)

It should be called the 'Lesser Spotted Eos' in and around the Belfast area. So far I have seen only two on the road, and one of those was in France. This is a little surprising as the dealers are all saying that they are pleased with the sales.

It's here on the South coast mate. It isn't especially warm, but head burny nonetheless! Don't worry, the ole currant bun will work its way up to you this week!

Look out for us in September as we are visiting your lovely part of the world. Spending a week in a cottage up near the Giants Causeway.

Will keep eyes peeled. Enjoy yourselves up there, no-doubt you will be checking out the Bushmills Tour while in the area.

I spotted a black EOS with the roof down driving along A483 towards Wrexham at about 5:30pm.

Dealer informed me last week that my EOS had been built and was awaiting the ship to Germany. Should be all go for September 1st.

I always wear a baseball cap as the peak works as a great sun-visor. Tried my Tilly hat with wide brim (and a strap to stop it blowing off!) as I did get my ears burned last year but the back of the brim rubbed on the head restraint all the time and drove me nuts...

I saw yesterday another midnight blue EOS, think it was a TDi, about 500 metres from my house on the other side of the park.

Light coloured leather interior - looked really good. Didn't have time to investigate further!!!

Anyone on here care to own up?

The wife saw a Silver with Red Leather interior on the motorway outside Dublin a couple of days ago. One of the few good days this year and I'm pleased to say that the owner did have the top down.

On a side note, is it just me or do any of you guys find it amazing at the high number of convertible owners that never seem to have the roof down. I tend to shout at them.....''Get your roof down!'' Now my 4 year old has started doing the same.

I agree,

I can't believe that people pay the considerable amount of extra money for convertibles and then hardly ever use it.

My roofs down at any opportunity. Afterall, thats why I have Climate and heated seats.

LOVE IT!

I'm with you there. Nothing like having the fresh chilled air in you face on a crisp clear winters day. Wrap up, heat up and go! Now that's said the wife is more of a warm weather roof down type of person but I am working on educating her.
