: Just got my Black Eos... 2.0 T
Harin 06-11-2007, 10:32 PM Wow - what a feeling, driving this amazing car in the summer. Got it this friday, and spent just about every moment awake driving it. Any excuse to go driving ;)
Unfortunantly I couldn't afford a brand new one, and actually didn't want to wait for it as it would most likely be getting to me in August (we have a 2 month waiting period in Denmark), but that is just about when our summer ends....
I've read some of you complaining about your prices... DON'T !!! I got mine cheap (Compared to others on the marked), it's one year old, has a lot of extras, but no navigation nor leather seats. And I paid $94.000, around £47500, and it has already gone 18.000 km..
But I got it with all the extras that I wanted, and soon the new navigation system from VW will be install along with leather interior...
But I must agree with what most people say in here - it is worth every penny... I'm just so happy about this car as I've never been about a car before
Gavster 06-11-2007, 10:39 PM WOWEEE that is expensive. All the best with your new car. Are you going to post any photos?

Congratulations and hope you enjoy it! Cheers from Canada!
smoggypaul 06-13-2007, 03:04 PM Really glad you're happy!! That sounds like an awful lot to pay but I guess it's all relative!!! I've had mine 6 weeks now, trust me the 'top down' bit just doesn't go away!! Now, where are me keys????...........
Happy EDA's
Paul:cool:
Harin 06-13-2007, 11:22 PM I've only had it for 6 days now - but every moment the sun is out - top goes down. I just love the stares you get from people, and since it is a very very rare car in Denmark, no one really knows it. Even other caprio-owners stare at it...
By the way - pics will be posted one of these days...
What can I say - I'm in love !

Glad you are enjoying your new EOS so much ... look forward to the pictures. I note in your signature it states "To come:Leather interior". Can they really replace or change it after the car is built?

Yes - that is common practice. We've got a 180% tax on cars + equipment her in DK, and that makes Leather interior cost more than you pay for a small car. But when it is done after delievery = no tax.
The process takes about three days, where my seats, doors and anywhere else is stripped of fabrics, and new cabine is sown (don't know if the spelling is correct), normally by hand, and you can choose whatever colors you'd like (as with the fabric, I'll propably go for the leather/alcatara it two different colors).
But a friend of mine just bought a complete leather cabine, I think it was on ebay. But then he saw my Eos, cancelled his leather cabine, sold his car, and got an Eos as well:D

Amazing! And here, if you buy the windblock after you take delivery it costs twice as much ... and there is no installation! Topsy turvy world. Thanks for the explanation!
