the smart top from mods4cars is immense it is by far the coolest thing i have ever purchased

yea Mods4Cars great to deal with, very efficient etc....pity they don't do underseat drawers, I really want 'em...!!!

How hard is it to install this?

Will it void my warranty as I have 5 years VW warranty left on my car.

I never took any video of my install, though that is a good idea. Following their instructions is EASY and their pictures basically tell the whole story.

.....as always a quick response from them:

We wish there was. No, unfortunately on the EOS it is so far not
possible to remote control the mirror folding. Sorry for not having
better news.

For Australians who want a smarttop, there is one thing to consider.

When you go to the website, you tell them where you are from.

If you are from the USA, you will see that the price is US$299 for the smarttop. If you say you are from Australia, you get the rest of the world price, which is 249 euros.

With todays exchange rates, thats AU$293 vs AU$362.

A way around this is to buy from GMP Performance, a Mods For Cars distributor, that I found on the Mods For Cars Website who will sell to us Australians at the US price. Thats who I bought mine from.

I note that there is now a distributor in Moorabbin, Melbourne, but I don't know what he charges.

or do as I did...buy it on ebay....$299 + shipping ( around $20),,arrived in 8 days.
