Hi guys,

I've recently bought a 2006 VW Eos 2.0TDI and the roof won't go down. Has anyone experienced this before and possibly know whats causing this? The battery had been dead for a while but is now charged.

Any messages on the display in the center of the dash when you try to put the roof down?

Do the windows go down but not the roof?

No messages on the dash and the windows are working fine. Maybe one of the sensors are gone??

Sounds like you need a friend or specialist with a Ross-Tech VAG-COM or a VW dealer with a VAG to read the Top Control Module module and see what fault codes are stored. If you are REALLY lucky it might be a bad top switch or a bad connection in the top control system some where.
