I have an 07 EOS. I hear a knocking noise coming from the driver side whenever I accelerate from a stop. I know that the front axle on that side was replaced before I bought the car. Could this be related or what could it possibly be? Thanks in advance for the help.

I would get this checked professionally as soon as possible as it could be a problem which affects the safety of your car. It may be something as simple as a loose mounting bolt or as complicated as a failing constant velocity joint.
This is not something you can ignore or put off for another day.

Could be your wife. You really should let her out of the trunk (Boot).
Seriously, Silvershadow has it right. A failure at high speed could spell disaster.
BTW, until you get if fixed, no more fast starts from a standing still position!!
You should check it ASAP with a professional - safety is something you should not leave in chance. It could be anything, the steering rack, the engine's joints with the car's chassis..anything!

Took to the dealer and it turned out to be broken radiator bracket and some bent shields under the car. All of which unfortunately for me were not covered under the warranty I bought. Apparently the person who owned the car before me had bottomed out.

Never the less, it wasn't as serious and costly as it could have been.:)
