Has anyone else had a problem with this warning light flashing?
Our Eos has xenon lights that turn when you corner. In preparation for a trip to France I moved the little metal levers that remove the kick-up to the light on what is in the UK the kerb side. After that a warning light started to falsh irritatingly, and I get the message AFS inoperative. I tried moving the levers back but the light still flashes.

Hi Charles,

I just found this (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3298781&postid=39527245) thread on the VW Vortex forum. It talks about the same problem and something being replaced.

Hope this helps.

 Well VW do supply deflector stickers for these headlights. They are really little more than white self-adhesive pvc and I'm not convinced that they make a huge difference - I was flashed a few times in France and it wasn't another EOS owner saying hi! The good thing is they are easy to peel of on return to the UK . The bad thing is they throw a shadow in front which is about as irritating as something in your eye. In this age of continental travel, especially the Brits, you'd think a switch to flick it across wouldn't be too complex an addition. Maybe we're outnumbered?
