Has anyone else noted the efficiency of the little wind delector used with the sun roof in catching insects?
Mine seems to attact them like a magnet and I usually forget to remember to vacuum it when doing the car interior.

Is the rear wind delector the same?

Yes, I have noticed the "specimans" I have collected, but haven't noticed any on the wind blocker. We recently completed a tirp to Nebraska farmlands and had the top down for the complete trip (around 1000 miles) except around Denver where the temperture was over 100 F.

Frankly, I never seem to use the small wind deflector ... it's usually either top fully closed, or top down with the wind blocker.

Had some sort of flying beetle come in and put a small hole in my rear deflector! I think it was aiming for my head. I'll have to post a pic. Beetle didn't survive, but I made it... barely.

Wife put some clear nail polish on the hole to keep it from tearing. Not too noticable, but I know it is there so of course it sticks out like hell for me.

Not too sure how it hit at the angle it did considering the aerodynamics, but I'm sure another incident will be in a long while.

I use the wind deflector a lot - especially in conjunction with the sunroof. I find it does a great job, both in catching entomological specimens and keeping the noise and wind-buffeting down.
In the Yorkshire climate the sunroof comes in for a lot of use and for me it is one of the clearest ways the Eos scores over its competitors.

I use mine a lot as well and the tip of sun roof open, deflector up and rear windows down is great for the kind of weather we have been having up here.
I have to agree the sunroof is a great idea.
