People always say that the 25 seconds for the roof to convert is reasonable.
Yesterday on the motorway with the roof down the rain came on in buckets. (at the moment there seems to be as much sun as rain)
The 25 seconds was not quick enough to stop us getting soaked. Simply nothing you can do except sit there and get absolutely soaked. Still trying to remember why I wanted a convertible:D

The moral is if you are going on a motorway and if you think it might rain only use the sun roof not the whole roof unless you want a shower:)

.......... and I'll bet you thought that 25 seconds was an eternity Graham! Hope you and the car both dried out quickly?

Cheers!

That happened to me... I lowered my windows first and exixted quickly.

I was luck since I have one of those roof mods... and started the roof going at 10 mi/hr.

This once happened to me in my old TT Roadster. I was on the motorway when the heavens opened. I got drenched before I could find somewhere to stop and put the top up.

It did seem like an eternity, dried out now though. Its a real pain at tyhe moment with dark thundery clouds overhead, warm temperatures and periodic sun. Want the top down, but I suppose if doing that you should keep off the motorways. I've learned my lesson.
