Was it good then? Who went? The cars look cool. Love the blue with the cornsilk leather. Iv not actually seen that colour combination on the road yet.

We had a fair turnout with Simon (Sij200) at the helm, Adam (Adamber) Emmanuel (Tintin) Tori (Torigirl) and Myself.
Simon was as enthusiastic as ever and gave us a demo of his smart top, he gave us tips and pointers on certain things, and also a demo on applying krytox.
Time ran away with us and we did not get to have our drive by.
It was agreed that it was probably a good idea to meet again in the spring when the weather has broken, hopefully the meet will attract a greater number then.

Congratulations Simon ... you are to be commended for all you have done to get the event going. How about moving to Canada and gettting more people here off their lazy butts?

LOL.... It's not that hard... You should just make post in the Canada section! It was quite easy for us as we don't live that far from eachother in the scheme of things!

It was good to see everyone... very impressed with Simons knowledge of the car!!!!

Jamcar - I trust you paid attention and are going to do your seals today!!

Easy Peasy!! Remember, microfibre cloth is the best way to do the seals in my opinion... I have tried many different ways!

Looks like a meeting of the Black Eos Club! (yes, I know some of them are dark blue..)

It is true that we were slightly dominated by the colour black. As we are gaining momentum, hopefully there will be a greater range of colours at the next gathering. It was great to meet everyone and put some faces and names against their pseudo. Shame about the aborted cruise but then again the weather could have been better.

A big thank you to Simon for the Krytox demo. I guess I better invest in one of those bottles as well as in a microfibre cloth in order to finish what you have started on the car. Looking at the pictures, I am slightly ashamed to see how dirty my car was. However I am now going to blow my own trumpet and give myself the gold medal for travelling the furthest to this meet (as opposed to some people who could have simply walk to TGI but I won't drop any names, you know who you are).

Let's see if we can increase the number of participants next time.
