Hi,
Soaking wet carpets in the rear footwell put my April 2007 Eos in the garage a month ago and it is still there!! My dealer is a little vague but I understand a VW mod installed on Friday failed to fix the leak. They are now awaiting a tecnician from VW to investigate the problem.
20T. So long sine I have driven it I have forgotton the colour and extras. Currently driving a Diesel Passat.

Probably the m segment seals probably need lubricating.... Or window seals.....
Do you know what "mod" they are referring to? I wouldn't accept vague, I would demand an explanation!!
Check the seals are correctly aligned and soft

Hi,
It is still in the garage, unfortunately I have been too busy to do anything other than phone them but I will get in there before the weekend. I did check the seals and they did seem to be OK.
I will keep you posted once I have something to report.

My car has returned, apparently the mod involved fitting an insert into the door seal in the area of the mirror, seems to have worked but early days yet.

This is what they've fiited in my car, and its made things much worse! now the drips are mixed with the lubricant and staining the door panel
its off back again next week, hopefully its just a case of re-alinging the windows, again!

My car is back in the garage tomorrow the mod did not work. I am also concerned, now we have frosty mornings, what damage may occur when the windwos drop to allow the door to open.
The saga continues!!
