The Canon EOS has been around in the UK for a few years prior to the introduction of the VW Eos. I just think of it as an Eos accessory now and its a great camera system by the way. :)

VW!
Canon EOS SLR cameras have been around for 20 years.
Digital versions first appeared in 1995 and cost nearly as much then as a VW EOS does now.

I have 2 Canon EOS digital SLRs to complement my VW EOS!

The Canon Eos line has been in the U.S. for many years as well first as 35mm and then digital. I also have one and like it as much as my VW Eos!

Whats the subtle difference then guys, apart from the 'e'. The English/US Thesaurus gives exactly the same definition to both spellings?

Blonde would be female and blond male, whatever it says in the Thesaurus! It comes from the French you see...
