New VW TV commercial in USA

Last night was the American Football superbowl-- an event which also gets some amount of fanfare for the debut of new (and supposedly amusing) commercials.

During last night's game, there was a new VW commercial I'd never seen before-- an ad that featured pretty much all of VW's models-- including a nice looking red Eos. (The first time I've seen an Eos on a TV commercial!)

Even though it had Stevie Wonder delivering the punchline, it hasn't registered on any of the internet reviews of the SuperBowl commercials.

Anyone else catch it?

I saw the "punch buggy" VW ad during the Super Bowl, and it's been on a few times since then. Pretty funny, I thought, with Stevie Wonder slugging Tracy Morgan at the end. Much better than a lot of other ads. My wife and I both noticed the red Eos.

Right after that commercial plays on YouTube, a Michael Jackson video of him performing at Superbowl 2006 comes on. My 2 year old entered the room and asked, "Who's that?". I said, "That's Michael Jackson.". She then said, "I don't like Apple Jackson."

Great ad - and I loved getting a couple of glimpses of an Eos on TV.

Seems like there was an unusual amount of ads with people hitting or tackling each other this year . . . a great Doritos ad with a kid slapping his mom's date, Betty White getting tackled in a football game . . . even college star QB Tim Tebow tackling his mother. But this year, the game was even more enjoyable than the commercials.

well it was for football.. I LOVED the kid slapping his mom's date.
