Has anyone ever retro fitted a head unit with the Dynaudio amplifier? I've had my Egos for a year, it was factory fitted with the RNS 510 and the Dynaudio sound system. The head unit has a hardware fault and I'd like to upgrade it with a model that has Bluetooth. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello.

When I bought my Eos (MY07) had the previous owner changed the radio to another device, because my RCD500 (with Dynaudio system) was broken. The only thing that did not work with this aftermarket unit were buttons on the steering wheel. Dynaudio system works with high-level signals (conventional speaker cables) and therefore not affected by the changing of the main unit.

I later switched back to RCD500 because it was just the CD changer that was broken, so I complemented with a Dension Gateway Pro BT (http://www.dension.com)

Now I have both USB (MP3), Bluetooth and handsfree :)

Best regards / Martin
