I have a 2008 EOS, Eismeer Blue Metallic with Black interior, 6700 miles. Super clean, too!
My wife, Rose, and I are looking for other EOS owners for possible road rallys or other social entertainment and travel. There does not appear to be many of the cars on the road in Las Vegas. However, the other night I was driving on the 215 up near the Aliante Casino, when a lady in a Salsa Red EOS pulled up beside us at a traffic signal. We both had our tops down (car tops!) and we drove together for a couple of miles. The encounter got us thinking about forming an EOS interest group in Las Vegas.
Please leave a note here if interested in meeting.

Bill & Rose I think I can say from all of us we could love to meet up with you and drive the strip but sadly we are all too.... far away. Don't forget to post some photo's for us all to see please - sure you could get some fantastic ones with the strip/mountains as a backdrop.

Just bought my paprika red (I hope I'm not the only one who finds that an odd name) 2.0T about two days ago, and I LOVE it. The interior during nighttime is wicked cool, reminds me of a jet cockpit.
To answer your questions:
1. I plan on upgrading the turbo, intercooler, and ECU when possible, along with a spoiler to improve the trunk lid.
2. Around 3-4 in the afternoon is fine, I usually leave the sunroof open to let the fresh air in.
Just brought home a 2007 Thunder Blue/Cornsilk from CA last week. Love it, the kids think most days it's too hot to go topless but they're getting used to it. I've waited this long for my convertible and I'm not about to put the top up all the ime.
A few negotiating days with the dealer and VW who finally fessed up to disclose that this mechometer/transmission issue which apparently is common (lurching /jerking in low gears and in reverse) falls under transmission warranty which was extended by VW until 100,000miles…. anyone else have experience/issues with this in LV??
If you put together a LV EOS group, count me in
