Default Service Reminder Reset?

I had my Eos in for an oil change last week. Apparently they didn't reset the service reminder message. Now when I start up, I get a message in the MFD that says service due in 400 miles or 104 days (and will count down). Can I reset this myself somehow (perhaps a combination of holding down some buttons, etc) or do I need Vag-Com/Dealer input?

Best to take it back in and get them to do it and make sure its noted by them. Doing things yourself, however small and insignificent they may be, can sometimes be used against you regarding warrenty !

Called my service advisor. He told me how to reset the service-minder. Here's how to do it:

With the car off, press and HOLD the 0.00 button for the odometer reset
Continue Holding the 0.00 button and turn the ignition key to on. MFD reads "Service Now!". Keep holding the 0.00 button and then press the MINUTE button for the clock set. Let go of everything and you're done

Yes it does work. I've done it 3 times. The procedure is in the owners manual.

Thanks Darren!

It may be in the user's manual, but this is the reason I belong to this forum, much easier than than manual! Thanks again - you Rock!
