A personal thank you from me to everyone for making 2018 a very interesting and informative year for our members. Without you, this forum would not function and we would not enjoy the benefits of each others knowledge, experience and enthusiasm let alone maximise our enjoyment maintaining and driving not only an Eos but all vehicles regardless of make from all eras.

I wish you and your families a safe and happy holiday season commensurate with your beliefs and I look forward to your contributions in 2019 to describe and advise ways and means to enhance our common bond. Of course, ongoing contributions to the Drivers' Lounge are essential to expand our knowledge and pass on knowledge concerning life in general and matters unique to ourselves.

My involvement with the forum means a lot to me and your contributions make it all worthwhile and keep me motivated.

Thank you one and all...............
Carer for my partner's Eos 2.0 TDI DSG MY09 Australian specification - Candy White/Cornsilk Beige leather trim. As at April 2019, I still haven't driven HER car. Her 14 year old grand-daughter has now staked a claim for future ownership when my partner is no longer capable of driving. .

I don’t like Christmas very much, because we usually gather the whole family in my parents' house and it’s very tiring. But this year I'm delighted with this holiday. I had two weeks of Christmas break, I spent them in my hometown. I saw many old friends, we went to New York for a jazz concert. This was the first vacation that I really planned. Every day I did different things from this list and I was able to really relax and enjoy the holidays. For the first time in my life, I prepared a New Year's resolution. It remains only to fulfill my plan. I'm waiting for the next Christmas to take up the results of my 2019 year.
