Default RH front speaker poled

Has anybody replaced their front RH speaker here? Just looking to see the level of difficulty and gotchas so I don't break too much when I get around to replacing it.

Trim clips etc.

I did a quick search but could not see any write-ups on it.

Tony.

Mick-

Don't get old - something was niggling in the back of my mind about aku in Poland doing something

I then had a look at the threads to which I subscribed-and sure enough I had actually written a response to a great how-to by aku....doh!!!!

This is his thread:

Yep, that is indeed the one!

A couple of tips that aren't in that howto:

When removing the door trim I can highly recommend having some trim removal pliers on hand like these to deal with the pesky trim clips. They get right into the clip and should "undo" them in the correct way so that you don't break them. It's also worth having a few spare trim clips on hand. Also, when you're ready to put the door back in, make sure the trim clips are not in the "squashed" position - take them out of the door card and use a screwdriver to pop them back up so they go back in their holes more easily.

Be prepared for the plastic part attached to the top of the door card that slots into the groove in the door to have come loose, and to need to fix it back on with some sealant or No More Nails or similar.

Thanks for this Aku, it's appreciated. Tony.

I have a post on replacing the front speakers under "Upgraded Speakers" in this section.
It's more 'gut and go' than 'gently swap', but it served my purposes. I found a you-tube that showed most of what to do, don't remember exactly how I found it though. Worth a look if yours is shot.
Good luck!
